Faster, Higher, Stronger

A fitting motto for Olympic athletes, but also applicable for many other athletes on a lesser scale. And a large number of those athletes gathered at First Ontario Centre in Hamilton Friday for the high school portion of the Hamilton Indoor Games. 450 athletes representing 25 schools across the area competed in a variety of track and field events. At 89 years, it is not only the oldest track meet in North America, but also one of the few opportunities for these athletes to compete during the winter months.
