Praying for Resurrection

There is plenty of construction happening in downtown Hamilton these days. But anyone walking downtown on James St. South over the past several weeks has seen a lot of deconstruction. James St. Baptist Church, across from the YMCA, now resembles a Hollywood set – A fine looking front, and nothing behind it. The entire back portion of the church, decayed and crumbling, has been demolished. Although it’s uncertain what will rise in its place, this much is certain: Spectator photographers were there to document this demolition. Have a look. – Barry Gray
