We can’t tell you who wins the Amazing Race Canada.

Shahla Kara, a contestant on the CTV reality show, has been sworn to secrecy.

But we can tell you about some Hamilton teens who held their own version of the Amazing Race Wednesday.

The teens, who have various cognitive and physical challenges, spent the morning racing against the clock and each other as they competed in a series of fun challenges designed to boost their ability to live independently.

With Kara on hand to cheer them on, they raced to learn how to order a prescription at a pharmacy, buy food at a grocery store for a nutritious lunch on a limited budget, and how to fold laundry.
