Traffic Grinds to Halt in Hamilton

Thursday’s accident involving a dump truck atop the Skyway bridge Toronto-bound resulted in the closure of the bridge – today, and for the foreseeable future. Given that the bridge carries upwards of 40,000 vehicles a day, that traffic has to go somewhere. And it has – onto the Linc, the 403, and most of the east-west roads within the city itself. The result? Morning rush hour gridlock. Before the afternoon rush hour gridlock, here’s a look at what to expect. – Barry Gray
