Sports As Art

With the Pan Am Games in full swing, many of the world’s best sports photographers are in the area capturing the action on the pitch, field, water, mat, etc. Great sports photography is often about capturing key plays or moments that happen in the blink of the eye, and there have been plenty of these photos from the Games. But, sports photography can often result in beautiful, artistic images for those with a keen eye and the skill to capture them. This is a selection of some of the more interesting sports photos from Pan Am 2015 so far.
