Barry Gray Year in Photos 2015

Hamilton Spectator photographers take literally thousands of images each year. 2015 was a good year for our department, with great photos from news and sporting events, or slices of everyday life in the community. Each of my colleagues – Scott Gardner, John Rennison, Gary Yokoyama, and Cathie Coward – have posted their favourite images to this blog in recent days as we look back on the year that was. Ontario, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 - The Hamilton Cardinals organization held a baseball skills clinic at Mahoney Park in Hamilton for players aged 5-9. 65 players registered for the 2 day clinic, where they received instruction on basics such as throwing, hitting, catching and base running. Hamilton. Ontario, Saturday, May 23,2015 -The 2015 Bassett Bustle was held Saturday at the SPCA leash free park on Dartnall Rd. Orgainized by Bassett Hound Rescue of Ontario, the event is chance for over 100 dogs to gather, play, parade, and participate in a costume costest to celebrate their second chances in life. Mud Day began in 2009 with a partnership between children in Australia and Nepal, so that they could experience the shared perspective of the challenges faced by children in other counties.
