Goodwill Games

For 50 years – beginning in 1968 – a hockey team from Montague, PEI, and one from Hamilton, have criss-crossed the country to play some hockey and enjoy the friendship and fun that sports are supposed to foster. The event, called the Goodwill Games, was in Hamilton this year and pitted a Pee Wee squad from the east coast with one from the Mount Hamilton organization. They boys played 3 games over the week, and took in a variety of sights from the area before parting ways. Here’s a look at their final game. – Barry Gray
